Who is responsible
LimeTriangle is the website used by Dario, an independent freelancer in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Dario is the contact for questions about personal information. You can use the email address on the Contact page to request information about privacy practices or service providers.
Information you provide
If you send an inquiry, the form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, and message. This information is used to read and respond to your inquiry, discuss possible services, and maintain the related correspondence. An acknowledgement is sent to the email address you provide. It does not subscribe you to marketing.
Please avoid sending passwords, financial details, sensitive personal records, or information about other people that is not needed for the inquiry.
Website and security information
The web server may record technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages, and browser details for operation and security. The inquiry form uses short-lived security tokens and limits repeated attempts using hashed network and email identifiers. These controls do not create a public profile.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. On the Contact page, verification starts automatically and your browser connects to Cloudflare and processes device, browser, and network signals for security. The inquiry cannot be submitted through the form without successful verification. You may contact Dario by email instead.
Email and service providers
Inquiry messages are delivered to a Gmail mailbox operated through Google. The website plugin does not keep a separate database of message contents. Correspondence remains in the email account and may be included in its backups. Hosting and mail delivery providers also process information needed to operate their services.
Google and Cloudflare are United States based providers and may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Information may be subject to those countries’ laws. Contact Dario for written information about the providers, countries, safeguards, and purposes relevant to your inquiry.
Use and sharing
Personal information is used for the purposes described here and for reasonable related administration, security, and legal obligations. It is not sold or used to build advertising audiences. Information may be disclosed to service providers supporting these purposes, where required by law, or with your consent.
Retention and safeguards
Correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a resulting business relationship, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. It is then deleted or anonymised, subject to backup cycles and legal requirements. Dario can explain the retention practices that apply to a particular record.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No website or email system can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask about your information, request access or correction, or discuss withdrawal of consent and deletion, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions. Contact Dario using the Contact page. If a privacy concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or, where applicable, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
